Moffat’s Versiclear trolleys – they’ve got waste sorted!

Moffat’s new Versiclear catering waste trolleys are the answer to every dinner lady’s prayers – they create an organised clearing up procedure that children actually use. The trolleys are designed to be a portable and hygienic waste disposal system that can be wheeled into the dining hall at the beginning of the lunch break and just as easily wheeled away once the meal is finished.

The Versiclear trolleys have four different collection points for utensils and uneaten food etc. Three collection bin sections have easy-to-reach circular top openings and the fourth section is an open-fronted shelf area for stacking trays. All are clearly labeled with large colourful graphics showing what goes where, e.g. beakers, waste, cutlery and trays. This simple layout encourages children to put the right waste in the right place, saving staff time.

School children aren’t all the same height so Moffat produces the trolleys in two levels – the VCB 750mm model for juniors and the VCF 900mm model for seniors. The tough Versiclear trolleys are easy to manoever but their castors have brakes so they won’t take an unplanned trip across the dining hall during the lunchtime scramble.

To stand up to rough school use, both models are constructed from sturdy, wipe-clean stainless steel. Moffat offers the Versiclear trolleys in a wide range of standard colours and designs. Coachlines and bespoke designs are available on request.
