Moffat’s Versicarte is getting a makeover. This popular food service trolley range plays a key role in catering in hundreds of schools across the country. The Versicarte Plus looks great but the makeover is much more than skin-deep: new technology, new ideas and new features make this a whole new product range, designed to meet the changing needs of school catering.

The Versicarte Plus offers a complete solution for food service, with heated, refrigerated and ambient models, a variety of display solutions, self-service and assisted service units and practical options including cash-till units, low-level trolleys (for plates, trays etc) and corner sections.

The Versicarte Plus offers the most versatile solution, too. Smaller schools may have just one or two trolleys, larger ones may have several. The new range has been developed in consultation with school meals organisations. Hence the new trolleys’ streamlined design, including curved gantry, smooth body and invisible castors. It’s not just highly practical: the fashionable lines are designed to appeal directly to young customers, helping increase school meal take-up. What’s more, the Versicarte Plus features coloured fascia panels that are easy to change. So if you want a fresh look in the dining area, simply put in new panels for a new colour scheme!

Food safety and quality have always been at the heart of the Versicarte. The Versicarte Plus range further enhances this; for example, hot cupboards are now fan-assisted to give fast, even heating and ensure the best quality.

And the famous Versicarte versatility has been further expanded. The Versicarte Plus’s innovative features include the glass screens, which can be adjusted, so that the trolley can switch from self-service to assisted service easily.

New products in the range include the Versicarte Plus Salad Bar, designed to keep those healthy greens looking great and in tip-top condition.
